Today after a sleep in and big brekky, we arrived at the bus to be greeted by a bunch of primary school students watching from a nearby playground, very excited to see us. We then took a 30 minute bus trip to Moudros, with a history lesson from Bruce. We arrived at the Mudros Secondary School and were greeted with a history presentation by the students and time to get to meet them afterwards.

After a short walk we arrived at the East Mudros Military Cemetery for the Lemnos Anzac Day service. It was an amazing experience seeing all the the Lemnos community showing their respect for our Anzacs. I was privileged to be able to present my adopt-a-digger at this service, being able to tell Donald Alexander Gordon Chisholm's story and pay tribute to him and our Anzacs and nurses that served at Lemnos. The service went for a long time and it was a real thrill to be part of it.

After a busride home filled with jokes and chatting, we had some down time at the hotel (which has free wifi) before going for a long walk to Castle Myrina. This was definitely a highlight. We could see all of Lemnos from the top of the castle.

Today was a great day filled with fun, learning, heaps of photos and loads of Greek food.
